Five Element Reflexology
In addition to Gua Sha Facial Fusion I am a classically trained (Ingham Method), sought after Reflexologist of 11 years with a clinic practice specialising in Pregnancy and Women’s Wellbeing in East Dulwich, South East London.
I have been fortunate to treat 100’s of pregnant women (many of them also for their second pregnancy and beyond) with Maternity Reflexology and I am regularly recommended by word of mouth. I consider working with women at all stages of pregnancy, especially knowing that some will have walked or are walking very challenging paths, an absolute privilege.
I have also trained in TCM Pregnancy Reflexology and Five Element Reflexology (with Heidi Armstrong of The Bath Complementary College), incorporating foundational knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory and Five Element cycles. An integration that I have been continuously applying, studying and revising over the past four years.
I am not an acupuncturist neither do I have the level of training to encompass a full TCM degree, however in my practice I have found that integrating core wisdom from TCM has increased benefits and results for clients. I also work in collaboration with TCM colleagues especially in relation to fertility support. Reflexology and acupuncture complement each other very well.
I have enjoyed Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Remedies throughout my adult life and know TCM to be a profound and complex system of medicine.
Five Element Reflexology offers a framework that allows me to consider your holistic wellbeing from a wider perspective with observations that may inform aspects of your treatment to also include acupressure on the feet, legs, arms, hands and the face. Moxa where beneficial and magnets/press pellets used on acupressure points to consolidate your treatment. Any integration of other therapeutic aspects will be discussed with you and agreed before building them into your treatment plan.
An extended initial consultation form is designed to gather your personal details, medical history and also information that has meaning and relevance in relation to the Five Elements. Some questions may seem unusual or more familiar if you have had acupuncture or TCM treatments.
